Why is my contestants' points count not increasing?

There are a number of reasons why a contestants' points might not be increasing.

1) They must have gotten a referral in order to increase their points. Just simply sharing does not increase their points number.

2) They are trying to cheat & refer themselves, this has set off our cheating detection algorithm.
