Why is AWeber requiring me to double opt-in?

AWeber has a policy that you cannot use single opt-in with their API (which our software uses). This means that when your contestant signs up, they don't get added to your mailing list UNLESS they manually confirm their email (AWeber sends them a confirmation email).

This happens even if you DISABLE double opt-in on your forms because our software goes through the API. Here's the document on AWeber that explains this phenomenon.

To BYPASS this, you must contact AWeber directly to let them know to disable double opt-in via the API.
