How do I add conversion / tracking pixels to my contest?
NOTE: VYPER automatically tracks the "PageView" and "Lead" Facebook pixel events. A few participants will have to sign up before the pixel starts tracking.
If you add your Facebook Pixel ID using the method below it will only trigger the event once per user session, on the first signup. This is to avoid double-tracking conversions.
To verify the domain/subdomain being used for the giveaway in Facebook
Allow your pixel to accept data from all domains
Add the "Lead" event as a priority event in Facebook
Place your pixel ID in Vyper, see instructions below
Have 10+ sign-ups so the conversion event can start to record in the Facebook events manager
1.) Click on the Settings tab

2.) Click on Step 4 Tracking Codes & Pixels. Add in the tracking pixel here
Note that you can click the "Add More Tracking Tags / Pixels to add extra tracking code to the header of "all pages" and the "thank you" page.
If this does not work, please add the "lead event" to the submit button click (tutorial on how to do this)

3.) When you set up your Facebook ad campaign, make sure to choose the Conversion Campaign, then optimize your campaign to the Lead event.
4.) We highly suggest you verify your domain with Facebook and make "Lead" one of your priority events.
NOTE - The Facebook chrome browser extension does show tracked events properly on the Vyper thank you page as we use a subdomain with an iframe.
The tracking will still work even though the browser extension says "data is not being passed back to Facebook". Once a few people sign up to your giveaway/contest you will start seeing the events track in your Facebook events dashboard.
WARNING - The apple IOS update has made it a lot more difficult for advertisers so there will be some issues using pixel tracking with giveaways/contests. Place the pixel lead event on the button click for additional tracking to help track more submissions.
