(v2) How do you add emails to a mailing list provider aka email service provider (ESP)?

We currently integrate with Mailchimp, Klaivyo, Aweber, Convertkit, Sendy and Drip, and more.

If you use a different mailing list provider, you must use the export by CSV function.

1) To integrate, please visit the "Settings" tab from the top.

2) Then click the logo of the correct integration in the list below.

3) Follow the directions and fill in the appropriate sections after you click the logo. Each mailing integration will have different directions.

(v2) How do I embed the VYPER contest form on my website?

Accepted Answer

Go to the design tab. You'll see the following setting.

Fill out the settings on that page and save. Make sure you have the EXACT landing page URL you are using, including http:// or https://

Then add this code to any webpage in order to embed your VYPER form.

Why is it not working or why am I getting a notice that my contestant is a bot?

You don't have the correct landing page URL, or your user is signing up on http:// when you have https:// setup.
You didn't save the settings on the design page. You must save the settings on this page in order to set-up VYPER to use the embedded form instead of the default VYPER landing page.

(v2) How do I cancel my account?

Accepted Answer

Once you cancel your account, please note that all your data will be erased immediately.

Go to your manage account page.

Then click the "switch to maintenance mode, or cancel your account" link.

(v2) Why did my contestant not get a confirmation email?

Accepted Answer

1) It might be disabled under your account. Go to your contest settings and make sure it's enabled.

2) Their email might have been faulty. We verify emails exist before sending them.

3) They might be referring themselves to try and cheat. We don't send confirmation emails to these users.

(v2) What is the difference between the leaderboard and the sweepstakes?

The viral leaderboard contest is a brand new contest type. It is similar to the viral sweepstakes contest (which was previously just called "viral contest") but has several key differences.

Users can see where they stand on a "leaderboard." Generally this type of contest would be used for things like waiting lists, contests where the top user wins, etc.

You can send prizes or opt-in bribes for any number of entries with a viral leaderboard. For example, you can send opt-in bribes if they hit 100 entries, 200 entries, AND 300 entries if you so wish. Inside the viral sweepstakes contest, you may only send opt-in bribes for one prize level (for example, 10 entries).
To preserve the virality & effectiveness of this type of contest, you cannot set how many referral entries a user gets inside a viral leaderboard.
Viral leaderboard allows you to set prizes for rankings, for example, you can award prizes to the top 3 ranks.

(v2) Why is my contestant's entries not increasing?

There are a number of reasons why a contestants' entries might not be increasing.

1) They must have gotten a referral in order to increase their entries. Just simply sharing does not increase their entry number.

2) They are trying to cheat & refer themselves, this has set off our cheating detection algorithm.
